The biblical Noah is known for having saved endangered animals – the "modern“ ARCHE NOAH has made itself a mission to save all sorts of plant treasures. Thousands of plant species which run the danger of becoming extinct are preserved by this internationally acclaimed initiative.
The ARCHE NOAH show garden: Step through an iron-wrought gate into the time of the Empress Maria Theresia and enter an enchanting world of cultivated plants. Discover hundreds of rare vegetables, herbs and berries. Enjoy the idyll of this garden, which is many centuries old. People, animals and plants lead a life in unison – since more than 15 years already, the garden is organically cultivated. Be inspired by the stories of long-lost plant species and the journey crops have taken around the world, and take some tips for seeds home with you. The elegant Baroque pavilion offers you a garden library, and our shop welcomes you with many rare species, seeds, books as well as preserving jars from our organic farmers.
