The amethyst world in Maissau is a place of special powers. In the amethyst park, which is arranged with local flowers, wood, natural and precious stones and water, special importance is attached to the energy which shall 'flow' and be absorbed in the whole area. The amethyst park is made up of singular theme gardens, the "Garden of Power" including the "Amethyst Pond" with its large amethyst and aromatic herbs, which work as a pure source of energy. Especially worth seeing is the new "Chakra Route“, unique in its kind in the whole world. The garden has been designed according to special geological power lines; the seven "Chakras" (= representing the energy centres of the human body) are marked with flowers, plants and precious stones in different colours. The "Garden of Lower Austria", which was designed in 2007, is a plant bed arranged according to the province's border lines featuring descriptions of the single rock deposits that can be found in each region. Furthermore, the energy station was newly created: this special place, which is arranged with water, gemstones, plants and seating made of wood and precious stones, helps stressed and exhausted visitors to find a new balance of energy. The Feng Shui- area is the perfect place to relax, calm down and get new power.
Visitors have the chance to try the pendulum and dowsing rod and feel their body with the help of professionals - reservation is obligatory!
