The 24 "Gardens of Lower Austria" and their complementary offers and activities provide a perfect answer to the international demand and interest for garden tourism, underlining the positioning of Lower Austria as a garden province. On October 4, 2007, both the deputy state governor Ernest Gabmann and Mag. Wolfgang Sobotka from the province’s government went to introduce the new platform in the provincial capital St. Pölten.
