The Rosenburg is a medieval castle complex which was turned into a mighty Renaissance castle over the course of the 16th century. Today, the building welcomes you with its unique atmosphere, the daily fascinating flight shows with falcons and other birds of prey, the enchanting gardens and the castle with its sumptuous rooms. Built during the 12th century, the Rosenburg is owned by the Hoyos family since 1681, who has ever since dedicated itself to the conservation of this popular excursion target. The Rosenburg castle does not only impress its visitors from outside – its rooms and halls contain precious pieces of furniture, paintings and other works of art. The marble hall, the library and the castle chapel are the most beautiful interiors of the Rosenburg. They make this place truly unique.

Our gardens:
Rose wall: On the western side of the tournament court visitors can find an impressive rose wall with a length of 120. The rose garden: The moat is the hideaway of the rose garden, which is lovely arranged with shrub and bed roses and other flowers that underline the beauty of the roses. Furthermore, a romantic fountain in the middle of the garden emphasises the wonderful, gentle atmosphere. The garden of love: The "love path" runs through this special theme garden and symbolises the origin, growing and thriving of love.
