This tree nursery in the middle of the Tullnerfeld was established in 1875 and is a family-run business in the fifth generation. The breeding of the richest plant selection of Austria in the best autochthonic (for Lower Austrian climate conditions) growing quality is the passion of the 100 garden specialists working there. Praskac country for plants opens up its doors for everyone who wants to know more about it. Discover the impressive world of plants - the growing of plants from shootings to fully-grown garden plants can be observed in interesting guided tours or (if the weather is nice) in a tour with open cars. Finally, you have the possibility to go shopping in the large (2 ha) garden centre. Another attraction is Austria's biggest flower sculpture, the "PrasKatz", which is 9 m high and made of 12.000 plants. This sculpture was the most frequently photographed flower object from May till October. There is a possibility to purchase a combination ticket for fair events in the city Tulln (e.g. the Austrian horticultural fair at the end of August) or a visit at DIE GARTEN TULLN (gardens in Tulln).
