Langenlois, Austria's largest wine growing city measured in terms of hectares per capita, can pride itself on hosting the most exciting wine centre of the country: The LOISIUM wine cellar experience world & wine shop as well as the LOISIUM hotel, designed by the New York star architect Steven Holl. The LOISIUM wine cellars invite you to an unparalleled wine discovery featuring different stops about wine growing, wine projections, mystic sculptures, an ancient wine grower's house, wine cellars more than 900 years old as well as their modern counterpart, the wine estate of the Steininger family. Around the LOISIUM wine destination, you can find the "Wine.Art.Garden", whose centre is made up by a wine grower's typical thoughts during his daily work. What is it that he is actually thinking of? His family, celebrations, the weather - you will find all these elements interpreted in an artistic way. The installation goes all the way from the LOISIUM hotel down to the cellars and the "Heurigen" wine tavern of the Bründlmayer family. Altogether, 9 different streams of thought have been worked out by the artists.

Wine cellars:
- with audio guides or personal tour: about 1 ½ hours
- with personal guided tour, 3 wine samples and guided tour through the "Wine.Art.Garden": about 2 ½ – 3 hours
